Why does a clock always show 10 past 10 in pictures?

It doesn't, maybe in movies because they stay up late filming and refilming scenes. like in Napolien Dynomite when Napolien asks for some chapsick over the phone, the cheese pile gets larger in the backiground.

Actually the reason is because most watches/clocks have the brand name on the top middle of the watch and if you set it to that time, it leaves room for the name to be seen. this isn't true of all watches/clocks as some have them at a different time when their logo is at the bottom.theprincessh
