There are many different versions of ASA exams for each level (i.e., 101, 103, 104, etc.) so there is no one single "exam". There is a large pool of questions from which an exam is randomly generated.
The ASA log book you receive when starting your training has a section on each exam level that tells you exactly the items on the tests. The points in the log book are very specific and you can literally take each point in the log book and find it in the study texts. Obviously it is better to understand all the material, but if you can answer and understand each point in the log book certification overview, you basically have answers for all the questions.
Note that each exam level also had a practical which must be signed-off by an authorized ASA instructor.
