What did Franklin Roosevelt do to help his people in world war 2?

Franklin Roosevelt was able to pull the country out of the great depression by putting people to work and selling war bonds. FDR developed the first National Parks system in the United States creating the Conservation Corps creating thousands of jobs for returning veterans.
