What referendums have been held in Australia?

Australia has held several referendums since its federation in 1901, with the most notable ones including the 1967 referendum which allowed the federal government to make laws for Aboriginal Australians and included them in the census. Other significant referendums include the 1977 referendum that addressed the filling of Senate casual vacancies and the 1999 referendum on whether to establish Australia as a republic, which was ultimately rejected.
