What year was the jc Higgins model 41 22 cal. rifle manufactured?

I received a model 41 for Christmas in 1959. I believe my Dad payed $12 for it from our local Sears store. I still have it today. Still shoots accurately. This Christmas (2009) it will be 50 years old!
