When does the mating season for a black panther take place?

The mating season for black panthers, which are actually melanistic leopards, typically occurs year-round, but peaks during the warmer months. Female leopards can come into estrus several times a year, usually lasting about 6 to 7 days. Males may travel over large distances to find mates, as they often roam to establish their territory and seek out females.
