As a Christian the response of air pollution?

Christians have varied views on the issue of pollution. I like to believe most christians view it as an abomination, and a crime against God for defiling the world He gave us. However, some may believe it is not a big deal, like some people who are athiests or of another religion. This is just one view, and I expect more to be added.
