How do you remove the oil pan on a 1994 Ford van 6 cylinder?

Look at the bottom of your engine. this bottom section is the oil pan it has screws holding the oil pan on to the bottom of the engine. There is a single bolt that allows you to drain the oil out. If you need to take it off get a few things ready. One the proper amount of oil to refill it, and new oil pan gasket. This is there to prevent leaks. It is usually not hard to do but even the easy things can have compications. Have a great day. First remove Engine, then install on engine stand. The reason you must remove engine, is the panwont clear the axle housing and the oil pump assembly.
