How can you clean an old brass chandelier with carved patterns?

Brass cleaner, but it's a big job. I suggest you go to a large Hardware store and ask them. There are sprays for crystal chandeliers, so you may get lucky and there is one for brass. If not, then see a light dealer and ask them what spray you could use to seal in the shine (after you have cleaned the brass chandelier). Most brass now has a sealant so you don't have to keep cleaning it.
