Do you need to use a condom if you are on birth control?

The pill is 99.99% effective in preventing pregnancy if used correctly. If you have missed a dose, you should use a condom too in order to be sure. However, the pill doesn't prevent against sexually transmitted diseases. (In other Words, you don't absolutely have to as long as your partner is clean.)
