Why is the movie twilight rated pg-13?

People are very protective about what children see now. Especially when children tend to have a very sharp memory. Here are a couple reasons:

• There is a graphic fighting scene (Alice ripping of James' head off)
• The wolfs were spade and neutered (If you look very closely)
• A little bit of adult romance
• Blood
