Why did anne Boleyn give the executioner money?

In those times, it was the custom for the executioner to receive money from the person he was about to kill as payment for his services and to ensure a quick, painless death. The executioner would have kneeled, asked her forgiveness and accepted the money. Anne then granted her forgiveness, made her final speech and said her prayers.
