How do the electoral vote totals show the need for voters in less populated areas to organize in order to influence national politics?

Each State gets the same number of Electors as the total of its Senators and Congressional representatives. The minimum number is three. Accordingly, voters in thinly populated States have a disproportionate influence over Presidential elections.
