Every city and town sets bylaw ages for services they will allow in there limits. So you need to phone the local shops and ask what the age limits are for the area you are in. There is a standing rule that in most of BC the age for tongue piercing is 13 or 14. Again it depends on the town or city you are in, age limits change from place to place. In Canada you are not a legal adult until you are 19 years of age, so that being the case you can be refused service if the studio thinks you are trying to pull a fast one. Age limits are there for health and safety reasons.
