Does old navy not recycle their hangers?

Sadly no, Old Navy does not recycle their hangers. Every article of clothing that is delivered to their store comes prehung, so if a customer does not take the hanger when they buy the clothing the hanger is thrown out! The majority of people do not take the hangers and it creates a terrible amount of waste.

First off, not every item comes hung. For example: basic denim, basic tees and tanks, most graphic tees etc.

The customer can also ask to keep the hangers.

I do acknowledge that most hangers are thrown away, isn't that what people would do if they took them home?
