Can you eat tope

Anyone can eat Tope. As long as the Tope is shore caught and meets the requirements of weight and length, the Tope can be eaten. It is a common misunderstanding that Tope is illegal to catch and eat, however, this is due to many believe that Tope is and should remain solely a sport fish.
