What is the concacaf?

CONCACAF, or the Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Association Football, is one of the six continental governing bodies for soccer (football) worldwide. It oversees the sport in its member nations, promoting competitions such as the Gold Cup and the CONCACAF Champions League. The organization also plays a key role in the qualification process for the FIFA World Cup for teams from its region. Established in 1961, CONCACAF aims to develop and enhance soccer at all levels across its member countries.
