What happened to the two gay chefs on Food Channel?

I believe you're referring to The Hearty Boys (Steve McDonagh and Dan Smith), who hosted "Party Line with the Hearty Boys' on Food Network after winning the first season of Next Food Network Star.

Steve and Dan are back in Chicago where they run their new restaurant, Hearty, and also a succesful catering business.

They've also released a cookbook "Talk With Your Mouth Full", and Steve has just put the finishing touches on a Mad-Men, Retro style Cocktail Recipe book.
