Which vacuum is better Kirby or Rainbow?

I have owned both brands, and I can personally say that I like the Kirby more. It is probably the most universal cleaner on the market because it can go from an upright to a canister, and even break down into a "compact cleaner" to be used on mattresses and stairs. It may be heavy, but it is powered by a self-propulsion system called "TechDrive", where you simply put the vacuum in drive, and off you go! The one thing that I'm not crazy about with the Kirby is the fact that you have to purchase bags.

The rainbow is a great cleaner too, but it is very inconvenient to dump the soiled water out every time you use it, but it definitely beats buying bags! It is heavy and awkward to move up stairs let alone to clean them.

Performance-wise, they are both brilliant with cleaning all types of floor surfaces. But when it boils down to it, the Kirby is a little more convenient with less maintenance.
