Do men become afraid and withdraw when they find themselves falling in love?

There are many reasons behind this unusual, they are either not ready for commitment yet, have someone else in their mind and want to keep their options open, you are too much for him, distance: if you live in different places, he never felt like this before or he is just so in Love and takes him time to think about it until he finally feels brave enough to tell you what he truly feels about you. PS: Going thru this and its been months since the last I heard from the guy, but there is always a hope as some people just get back to us with stronger feelings, they just need space and enough time to think about it.
