What is the fate of most of the G3P molecules?

Most of the glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate (G3P) molecules produced during the Calvin cycle are used to regenerate ribulose bisphosphate (RuBP), allowing the cycle to continue. A smaller portion is utilized to synthesize glucose and other carbohydrates, which serve as energy sources for the plant.
