During Holy Week, Jesus would often retreat to the Mount of Olives or other locations outside Jerusalem each evening to spend time in prayer and reflection. This practice allowed Him to seek solitude and communion with God, especially in the face of the impending crucifixion. Additionally, it provided a measure of safety from the growing hostility of the religious authorities. These moments of withdrawal emphasized His human need for spiritual strength during a critical time in His ministry.
