Everyone has to answer question like this for themselves. Sometimes you act on instinct and sometimes you have time to think about it. You have to very quickly decide if there is any chance you can save the person, what kind of percentage there is and if that is acceptable. I stepped between a woman and a man with a gun and told him to put it away which he did. Wasn't concerned for my self and really wasn't worried. Stupid, but that's the way it was.
