As technology improves so does urbanization. As you can imagine back in the 1800's, food was a hard thing to keep fresh due to the lack of formal refrigeration. This meant that many people had to live in rural areas, close to a fresh food supply. But when the refrigerator came out, it was a lot more easier for people to get food and maintain its freshness. As a result, living in the more urban areas became more favorable because technology made it easier for them. Plus, there are more jobs generally in urban areas, making it a bit more intriguing to live there.
This is just one reason, but one I feel it a huge impact on why people move to urban areas.
Answer:"The money was better and there were plenty of jobs because of industrialization. They dream of riches and interesting new lives as opposed to sleepy villages in the rural areas."This is true, also, safety is a huge issue as well, I live someplace where you have to drive for half an hour to get to the nearest hospital, wild animals are everywhere and its a huge inconvenience to live here, I plan on moving to an urban area ASAP because the only thing that is good here is the scenery (which is beautiful) but not worth living here for, rural areas are great vacation spots but to live there is horrible.
for jobs and money and that they have diffrent foods like there foods might be rationed
