Who invented shin kicking?

Shin kicking was not no much invented as evolved from older British Wrestling styles such as Devon or Norfolk Wrestling which incorporate the kick as a part of taking the person down. Shin kicking is still a wrestling style as the final aim is to throw the opponent to their back but the lower play i.e. the kicking has become much more emphasised.
