There are three types of arthritis that most people suffer.

Different forms of arthritis will cause the body to feel differently as a result of temperature Cold tends to tense a person. contracting muscles and as a result put more pressure on joints that may already be painful causing more pain. People with advanced osteoarthritis are probably most likely suffer from the cold. Cold also has an effect on gouty arthritis's as it seems to prefer happening in the cooler extremity's of the body. Arthritis pain however can often be relieved by judicious application of alternating heat and cold packs as one would do with a badly bruised sprain.
