A congregation is an assembly of like-minded persons who gather for worship and religious instruction. They remain a congregation even when not together, unless a member chooses to withdraw from the church.

Visitors may also attend an assembly of persons gathered together for worship and religious instruction. They are not part of the congregation, and may not even be "like minded" with others there.
