Does Cairo have a president

Cairo, as the capital of Egypt, does not have a president of its own; instead, it is governed by the President of Egypt. The President oversees the entire country, including Cairo. As of my last knowledge update in October 2023, the President of Egypt is Abdel Fattah el-Sisi. Local governance in Cairo is managed by a governor appointed by the president.
