What is Epiditimis?

Epididymitis is an inflammation of the epididymis, a coiled tube located at the back of the testicle responsible for storing and maturing sperm. It is often caused by infections, including sexually transmitted infections like chlamydia and gonorrhea, or by non-infectious factors such as injury or urinary tract issues. Symptoms typically include pain, swelling, and redness in the affected area, and treatment may involve antibiotics, anti-inflammatory medications, or other supportive care.
