Why are there so many gay kids?

Kids CAN be gay. In fact, about 3% to 8% of all children are gay. It's not a choice, so there is no way to avoid being gay if you are gay.

Children up to the age of about 12 usually do not realize what their sexual orientation is but by puberty, the pieces start to fall into place. This is very natural. If you are a parent and your child is discovering his or her sexuality, be supportive and love your child like you have your entire life.
