Good is a matter of opinion. It is only good to change if you agree with the beliefs of the religion you are changing too.

By itself the act of changing religion is neither good nor bad. Changing religion for no good reason is really suspect; there is probably an agenda the person is following, and the person hasn't owned up to it. Changing religion for spite, or to hurt another person or persons is childish and honors no one.
Good reasons to change religion, or to consider changing are: thinking, learning, questioning and challenging, doubting, and having the courage to have an opinion or belief that is different from others, even if the others are people you love and respect. You must also have the courage to have your beliefs challenged, and face the reality that the challenges may mean that you are wrong.
Religion is a deeply personal thing and holding on to one only for the sake of the feelings of others is weak-minded. If you are going to practice a religion, or if you are going to abandon religion altogether, do it because you have determined for yourself the truth or falsity of the arguments of religion, and you have determined what assumptions about the world and about religion you are willing to accept. Forced religion, whatever the religion teaches, has to be one of the worst abominations. And remember that changing religion does not mean that you cannot go back to your original beliefs, only with immeasureably more wisdom and depth.
