Advantages:

- Getting to travel
- Making money
- Meeting new people
- Having a career while young
- Possibility of becoming famous
- Getting free clothes & accessories
- Getting to work with designers

Disadvantages:

- Growing up too soon
- Pressure to lose weight
- Constant criticism and rejection
- Distorted/Poor body image
- Homesickness
- Missing school, friends and activities (prom, dances, sporting events)
- Modeling as a career doesn't last long
