What is Giving Tuesday?

Giving Tuesday started in 2012. It's the Tuesday following Thanksgiving, and it's a national day to encourage charitable contributions to non-profit organizations. It's similar to Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, and Cyber Monday. This is a day to raise awareness about your favorite non-profit, donate money, or give a donation in someone's name for the holidays.
