the part of the vagina in question is eaily torn during sexual intercourse and other activites. the only time that this being torn is a big deal is the first time a virgin woman has sex. its the first tear that seperates a virgin from someone that has had sex. this is soft tissue that doesnt completely grow back but shouldn't be a problem.
