Where do I find the paint color code on a Peugeot 206?

hi there the paint code should be on the drivers door just inside i know for a fact there is no paint code located on the chasis or trims on the 206 you have to phone a Peugeot dealer or someone like chapel house with your cars serial number located on the rear slam panel (the peice of bodywork the tailgate rests on when closed, its about 12 characters long e.g V12345678900) i know this because ive had to do it myself it doesn't cost you anything apart from the phone call, and they will give you the paints name and code then just give it to your paint supplier, oh and one other thing if your just having one panel replaced and sprayed don't expect it to match the rest of the car perfectly due to the rest of the cars paintwork being however many years older.
