What was order of planets as in 16th century?

In the 16th century, the prevailing model of the solar system was the geocentric model proposed by Claudius Ptolemy, which placed Earth at the center. The order of the known planets from Earth outward was: Moon, Mercury, Venus, Sun, Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn. This model was later challenged and ultimately replaced by the heliocentric model proposed by Nicolaus Copernicus, which positioned the Sun at the center of the solar system.
