no. what your baby has is the same thing as a vaginal infection. the thrush is cured by nystatin oral solution, and have your doctor prescribe some nystatin cream for the bottom area. if you are nursing, keep you nipples clean , espescially before nursing. if you bottle feed, sterilize the nipples, bottles and any thing else used in feeding your baby. do not use the same nipple set up twice. It is a usual thing babies face and may happen several times. they put everything in their mouth, and you know their hands are not clean. it's no real big deal in most cases, just requires seein or calling your doctor
