How much does a postcard stamp cost from France to US?

COST STAMP MAIL POSTCARD FROM France INTERNATIONAL EUROS .86 As of 7/21/2009, the local post office here in Southern France told us that to mail a postcard from France to US is still a 0.86 euro stamp. AND IT WORKED! +++++
