When do the Oscars start?

The 83rd Academy Awards will be held on Sunday, February 27, 2011 at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood. ABC will air a live telecast at 8:30 p.m. ET. There will be a 90-minute pre-show that begins at 7 p.m.
