Why do bacterias multiply when headphones are worn?

Generally the bacteria grows with time and keep on multiplying. But given the temparature in the ear when the earphones are present, the rate at which the bacteria grows/multiplies is much higher when compared to the normal conditions. Hope this clarifies.
