While you are working at your desk you smell fire. Within seconds the fire alarm sounds. What should you do?

If you smell fire and hear the alarm, immediately stop what you're doing and assess the situation. Evacuate the building calmly and swiftly, using the nearest exit; do not use elevators. Make sure to assist any colleagues who may need help, and once outside, move to the designated assembly area. Do not re-enter the building until it has been declared safe by emergency personnel.
