What is the oil capacity of a Honda shadow ace 1100?

This bike takes 3.7 quarts of engine oil. Many owners seem to like 10-40 W oil for this bike. If the engine is worn then a thicker grade oil may be considered, or more frequent oil and filter changes at least.
