Summary of Charles Darwin

Darwin is the father of evolution. He was a scientist. He was also a writer. He popularized the idea of natural selection. He also opposed slavery.

Darwin went to Edinburgh University in October 1825 to study medicine. He had a wife, and they were married on January 29, 1839. They had ten children, three of which died at early ages.

Darwin wrote 3 books. Most famous was his Origin of Species. He also wrote Descent of Man and The Voyage of the Beagle.
