Not eat or drink before surgery?

yeah, usually the hospital will tell you when you should stop eating, its usually 6-8hrs before the time of admission.....im getting surgery tomorrow and ive gotta be at the hospital at 2pm, and ive been told to eat nothing after 8am. but it usually depens on the type of surgery aswell
