ETHOCENTRISM_ is the phenemenon of judging events as good if they fall within our own perception level and our own cultural background.
1. there are various forms of diversity like sex,race,ethnocity etc. in in organization it becomes difficullt to manage people which is the most important task of a HR manager.
2. attitude of individual becomes distorted
3. it hampers free and effective communication within the organization
4. it prevents 3600 appraisal an important task to take place.
5. organizations which operate on a global scale find it difficult to integrate its national operations.
6. individual and organization fail to go together.
7. it hampers team work.
8. diversity management....which is a vital HR subfunction is deeply affected.
