What year is a ge NC-8-FB refrigerator?

An NC-6-FB was made in 1946, so I'm guessing the 8 refers to 1948. I wish I knew for sure because I have and NC-8-FB that i'm trying to restore. It was purchased new in 1950 so it could very well have been bought in 1950.
