How long does it take to get a degree in Math and Statistics?

A baccalaureate degree in math/statistics is a four-year program that, depending on how it is scheduled, could take longer to complete. Generally, it is eight semesters of full-time study.It can be shortened by attending summers, and lengthened by decreasing the class load and stretching it to five years. Most people in the field go on to pursue a graduate degree, which will take another year or two, again, depending on the scheduling and the focus.
