First turn on the Dish network receiver, then press and hold the mode button on the receiver until all mode buttons light up. Next release the mode button, and the mode button will flash. Enter the Samsung code and press the pound button. Press the power button to test. If the TV and receiver does not turn off, repeat the steps and use a different code.
