Can a right triangle be scalene?

I do not think so. Scalne has 3 sides of equal length. You need 90 degrees to form a right angle and trinagles are 180 degrees with three sides. so the answer is NO.

  • Actually a scalene triangle has no congruent sides. An equilateral triangle is the triangle which has three sides of equal length. Therefore, it is logical that a right triangle can also be scalene.
