How far did Marquette Joliet and La Salle went in the river?

Marquette and Joliet explored the Mississippi River as far north as present-day Wisconsin DELLs, reaching the confluence of the Wisconsin River. La Salle later traveled down the Mississippi River, all the way to the Gulf of Mexico, claiming the entire basin for France.
